मध्यपश्चिम क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल सुर्खेतमा आइसियु सेवाको समुद्घघाटन गरिएको छ । स्व. नन्द बहादुर कार्कीको स्मृतिमा श्रीमती थिर कुमारी कार्कीको सहयोगमा आइसियु सेवाको स्थापना गरिएको हो । उद्घाटन कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख अतिथी कार्कीले आइसियु सेवाको समुद्घाटन गर्नु भयो ।
कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै क्षेत्रीय प्रशासक महेन्द्र गुरागाईले क्षेत्रीय स्तरको अस्पताललाई केन्द्रीय अस्पतालको सेवा उपलब्ध हुनु पर्ने बताउनुभयो । सिरियस बिरामीहरुको लागि यो सेवा कोशेढुङ्गा हुने साबित गर्नुभयो । कर्णाली अञ्चलको प्रबेशद्वार भएकाले कर्णालिका जनतालाई समेत यो सेवाले टेवा दिने बताउनु भयो ।
बिरेन्द्रनगर नगरपालिका का उप-प्रमुख मोहनमाया ढकालले मृत्युुको मुखमा पुगेका बिरामीहरुको सहयोगार्थ बनेको यो सेवा बाट नया जीवन पाउने भएको हुदा सहयोग गर्ने कार्की परिवार प्रती आभार प्रकट गर्नु भयो । यो कदम साहासिक, उदाहरणिय र जिवनदान गर्ने कामको लागि कृतज्ञता समेत ब्यक्त गर्नु भयो ।
अस्पताल बिकास समितीका सदस्य पुर्ण पौडेलले आइसियु सेवा ले अब बिरामिहरुलाई कोहलपुर, नेपालगन्ज पठाउनुपर्ने बाध्यता हटेको बताउनुभयो । जनताको भावना बुझेर सेवा दिने र अत्यन्त सम्बेदनशिल कुरामा सहयोग गर्ने थिर कुमारी कार्कीलाई धन्यबाद समेत दिनुभयो ।
स्व.नन्द बहादुर कार्कीका जेठा छोरा कोमल कार्कीले बुवाको समाजसेवा प्रतीको लगाव र उहाकै प्रेरणाबाट सहयोग गरेको बताउनु भयो । यहि क्षेत्रको बसोबास गर्ने र क्षेत्रीय अस्पतालको आबश्यकतालाई मध्यनजर गर्दै सहयोग गरेको र अरुलाई पनि यस्तै सहयोग गर्ने प्रेरणा मिलोस भन्ने उद्देश्यका साथ सहयोग गरेको बताउनुभयो ।
कुल ४३ लाख सहयोगबाट आइसियु निर्माण गरिएको छ ।
यसमा दुइवटा भेन्टिलेटर र ४ जना सम्म बिरामी अटाउन सक्ने क्षमता भएको क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल सुर्खेतका मेसु डा. डम्मर खड्काले जानकारी दिनुभयो । नेपालकै सरकारी अस्पतालहरु मध्य उत्कृष्ट र उदाहरणिय अस्पताल बनाउने प्रण समेत गर्नुभयो ।
कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी महादेव पन्थ, जिल्ला जनस्वास्थ्य अधिकृत शम्भु प्रसाद ज्ञवाली, स्थानिय समन्वय अधिकारी अमृत लम्साल लगायत सन्चारकर्मिहरुको उपस्थिती रहेको थियो ।
